“I will forever be grateful I was referred to Sunny for electrolysis work.

Growing up, I’ve had a lot of insecurities with the hair on my neck. As kids, I’d always get made fun of for it, causing me to constantly be self conscious about it, even into adulthood. I always kept my hair down as much as I could to hide it, but doing sports for over 10 years, I naturally had to tie my hair up and there wasn’t a day that I didn’t hate it.

I’ve tried many different methods of cutting, shaving, etc. but nothing has worked long enough to keep the hair away, causing the deep-seeded insecurities to keep coming back.

Over a year ago, my sister (who has also been seeing Sunny for neck hair treatments), referred me to Sunny. I wasn’t sure what the process was like, but was happy to check it out after seeing the great progress that was being done for her.

During my very first consultation with Sunny, she took the time to walk me through the process, set expectations, treated a small section of my neck to get an idea of what it’ll be like, and most importantly, she listened to me. She listened to the reasons I wanted this done and was compassionate and was not judgemental at all, making me feel heard and seen. It may seem like such a small thing to be self conscious about, but being bullied for it growing up (and honestly being pointed out even in adulthood), those things stick with you and Sunny understood all of that.

We’ve been working on both sides of the neck for the last year and a half and I can say I’ve never been so happy to wear my hair up in a bun or ponytail now. All the unwanted neck hair is gone with no regrowth along with the insecurities I had, and I so appreciate Sunny was with me every step of the way. There were days that were more painful than others, but she provided great solutions any chance she had – i.e. using numbing cream, taking Advil before, making sure to stay hydrated, etc. that all worked as long as I kept up with it.

On top of that, Sunny has been incredibly accommodating, professional, uplifting, always putting me at ease – I truly can’t say enough good things about Sunny and my experience. I can’t wait to continue doing treatments for other areas with her!”

“I am a transgender woman in my mid 30’s and I was looking to get vaginoplasty done, it’s something I’ve always desired since I was 12 years old. In order to do so, my surgeon required me to have my hair cleared on my perineum, my testicles, and on my penis. I had been getting laser done for the last year but it was not being cleared fast enough. Fast forward, I’m five months out from surgery and I’m in a bit of a panic. “I have lean PCOS, which has been accompanied by hirsutism on my chin, sideburns, and chest. After multiple laser hair removal sessions only darkened the hairs, I reached out to Sunny to try electrolysis. She took the time to explain the science behind the process, attentively dialed in the settings based on my skin’s reaction (my skin is sensitive), and reassured me that we would reach a point at which I would see lasting results. As someone who has struggled with this since 2014, I was skeptical to say the least, but we did it!
